Collector Sues Louise Blouin Media Over Smashed 2,600-Year-Old Sculpture

During a shoot, magazine photographers dropped a 2,600-year-old terracotta statue, smashing the $300,000 piece of Nigerian Nok art for good, according to the collector Corice Arman, who is suing Louise Blouin Media in a New York court, the Courthouse News Service reports. Read More

Amy Page, 72, passed away on Jan. 19. A native New Yorker, she lived much of her life on the Upper West Side. She is best known in the art world for the 30 years she spent as a freelance journalist covering the major art auctions and fairs like TEFAF in Maastricht, and for her tenure as editor-in-chief of Art+Auction magazine.
