The New Art Dealers Alliance and the nonprofit Artadia organization announced today that artist Ryan Foerster is the 2013 winner of their Artadia NADA Prize, which carries an unrestricted cash grant of $4,000 and is presented each year to one artist for his or her involvement in the NADA Miami Beach fair, which runs through Sunday at the Deauville Beach Resort.

Mr. Foerster has work at the booths of two exhibitors at the fair, those of Martos Gallery, of Chelsea, and Clearing, of Brooklyn and Brussels, Belgium.

This year’s prize was selected by Alex Gartenfeld, the interim director and chief curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, and Sylvia Chivaratanond, the adjunct curator of American Art at Paris’s Centre Pompidou Foundation and Museum. Last year’s winner was Margaret Lee.
