Mary M. Tinti Joins Fitchburg Art Museum as Associate Curator

The Fitchburg Art Museum, in Fitchburg, Mass., announced that it has named Mary M. Tinti as its new associate curator. Ms. Tinti comes to the museum from the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, Mass., where she served as a curatorial fellow.

The new associate curator earned her B.A. from Providence College in Providence, R.I., and her Ph.D. from New Jersey’s Rutgers University. She specializes in modern and contemporary art.

“We are thrilled that Mary Tinti will be joining us as our new associate curator,” the Fitchburg’s director, Nick Capasso, told the Worcester Telegram. “She is widely respected by her colleagues for her energy, knowledge and passion for contemporary art.”
