Matthew Weiner, the creator of Mad Men, will appear at the New Museum September 27 in conversation with the author A.M. Homes. The talk is part of the museum’s Visionaries Series, now in its fifth year, which is funded by the art dealer Barbara Gladstone in honor of her son, Stuart Regen, an art dealer and movie producer who passed away in 1998 after a long battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Tickets are $25 and available at the New Museum’s web site.
Previous visionaries were choreographer Bill T. Jones, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, chef and author Alice Walters and the artist Maya Lin.
