BAM Gets KAWS Mural, David Byrne Bike Racks

The Brooklyn Academy of Music will unveil a new site for bike parking on September 4, with a mural by the Brooklyn-based artist KAWS, and bike racks designed by former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.

In a statement, BAM’s president, Karen Brooks Hopkins, said: “BAM is at the center of a neighborhood that is brimming with bike activity and we are excited to offer this inspiring new bike lot to our audience and the community.”
