Yes! The February edition of Artforum has arrived. And it is a beauty. Catherine Wood considers the multifarious work of Ei Arakawa, David Velasco files a “1000 Words” piece with Art Club 2000 members Daniel McDonald and Patterson Beckwith and Mira Schor considers the legacies of Robert Hughes and Hilton Kramer. We are here now to celebrate the issue’s ads, though. They are particularly strong this month! Take a look in the slide show to the left.

What went wrong I guess is the dyslexic spelling error in this ad, but I suspect all the hope and innocence in that smile didn’t fare so well either, as is often the case with, you know, being alive for long enough. —M.H.M.
