Opening: Wade Guyton and Stephen Prina at Petzel
Each year for the past three years, Wade Guyton and Stephen Prina have presented a super-short-term show of collaborative paintings at Petzel. Mr. Guyton prints fours of his inkjet paintings—a different color each year—and Mr. Prina unleashes a long hit of spray paint on top of it. In addition, Joseph Logan makes a promotional poster that hints at the color of the next batch of paintings. (One wonders which lucky collectors gets to buy these beauties.) After Friday, the paintings will be removed. It's a grand tradition, not to be missed. —A.R.

Art Party: Norte Maar's Beat Nite
Bushwick’s bi-annual art-walk-cum-bar-crawl is back. For this edition, event organizer Jason Andrew (founder of Norte Maar gallery and co-founder of Storefront gallery) is turning curatorial duties over to Julian Jimarez-Howard, who has selected 10 art spaces, five of which are new to the neighborhood (including his own Outlet Fine Art).
