<p>"There are many kinds of art," the late composer <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/06/arts/music/elliott-carter-avant-garde-composer-dies-at-103.html?pagewanted=all">Elliott Carter once told an interviewer</a>. And so it is that there are also many kinds of art fairs. Each year brings more of them to Miami in early December. There are ones with lots of exhibitors (Art Basel Miami Beach) and ones with just a few (Seven), old ones (Art Basel Miami Beach, now in its 11th edition) and new ones (Miami Project and Untitled, this year). You get the idea. Below, a brief overview of the fairs. It's not entirely clear that your can actually attend all of these, even with four or five days at your disposal, but you can try.<!--more--></p>
