Here's a bit of trivia about The New Yorker for you: apparently the artist Wayne Thiebaud has done the cover for the magazine's Food issues for the past 10 years.

Isn't that something? The most recent, seen left, appears at his retrospective currently on display at Acquavella Galleries, and the magazine has put together a nifty little slide show for you to peruse some of his greatest food covers.
