Back in April, Nobel Laureate Orhan Pamuk opened up the real-life version of the Museum of Innocence, an Istanbul museum based on his 2008 book of the same name. Starting Oct. 1, a catalogue of the museum, The Innocence of Objects, is available from the book publisher Abrams.
The catalogue includes color photos of the museum, as well as writing by Mr. Pamuk, covering topics like the photography of old Istanbul and the psychology of collecting.
Mr. Pamuk has a number of upcoming appearances in New York, including at the New Yorker Festival on Oct. 5.
