Though many countries have revealed what they have planned for their pavilions at the 2013 Venice Biennale, a few are still assembling their teams and programs. The Korea Herald reports that Arts Council Korea, which oversees South Korea's pavilion, has tapped Kim Seung-duk as curator of its exhibition.

Ms. Kim is head of international exhibitions of the Le Consortium museum in Dijon, France, and the project director for city development projects in Doha, Qatar.

According to The Korea Times, Ms. Kim has revealed she will not present a one-person exhibition:

"She said the 2013 Korean pavilion will be a group exhibition featuring interdisciplinary artists. 'Collaboration is the key and I will choose artists from various genres including video, music and performance,' Kim said in a press conference at the Artists’ House at Dongsoong-dong, central Seoul."

The Herald also shares this interesting fact: South Korea was the second Asian country to have a pavilion at the Biennale. The first was Japan.
