<p>The French newspaper <a href="http://www.lefigaro.fr/culture/2012/08/09/03004-20120809ARTFIG00501-tout-l-art-de-larry-gagosian.php"><em>Le Figaro</em></a> recently sat down with Larry Gagosian, the man who "has taken art by the throat," as Google Translate puts it.<!--more--></p>
<p>It's a puff piece, but an amusing one. It picks up on the dealer's distaste for adjectives and adverbs, despite being an English major. Cars are "his second passion."</p>
<p>"I have my artists with the same sample of relationships people in life," Mr. Gagosian told them, again courtesy of Google Translate. "Some are very close to me, we go on holiday together. I will not tell you which ones! But I know all their names, I am close to many of them."</p>
