The Watermill Center's "Mike Kelley: 1954–2012” exhibition is set to close in about three weeks, and the institution is offering extended hours to entice people to make the trek to the Hamptons to see it before it's gone.

Through the end of its run, on Sept. 16, the show will be open Tuesday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Those Tuesday and Wednesday hours are new.

Earlier this summer, in an article I co-wrote about the rising art scene in the Hamptons, my colleague Michael H. Miller stated that the show, which features some of Kelley's films and his late "Kandor" sculptures "could have easily fit in at MoMA or the Whitney." It was curated by Hamburg, Germany-based collector Harald Falckenberg.

Why not make a trip out this weekend? Martos Gallery's summer show in Bridgehampton, N.Y., organized by Bob Nickas, closes Sept. 3, and the upstart gallery Halsey Mckay is having a reception for two new shows on Saturday.
