To go along with the news this morning that the Cy Twombly Foundation has purchased an Upper East Side mansion that will be home to an education center and museum, here are some pictures of the building’s interior at 19 East 82nd Street, courtesy of Judson Realty.
The building is a renovated 25-foot-wide Beaux-Arts mansion that was the former site of the Adelson Galleries. It was built in 1898 as the home for cigar-manufacturer Edward A. Kerbs. There are five floors and nearly 11,000 square feet. Have a look!
