Photographer and former Rivington Arms dealer Mirabelle Marden recently purchased a $1.55 million carriage house at 17 Dikeman Street in Red Hook. That news comes from The Real Deal, which says the sale occurred on April 19, though records of it only went public yesterday.
Rivington Arms, on the Lower East Side, closed in 2009, but was influential in launching the careers of Dash Snow, Dan Colen, Hanna Liden and Uri Aran. Ms. Marden is the daughter of Brice Marden.
At $775 per square foot the sale represents the highest-per-square foot price seen in the up-and-coming art neighborhood.
