The International Center of Photography has named a new executive director, The New York Times reports. Mark Robbins joins the Midtown institution from his previous post as dean of the school of architecture at Syracuse University.
Mr. Robbins seems to take a 21st-century view of photography. “ICP can be a great vector, a hub for discussion of the image in all of its configurations, photography, video, film, the Internet,” he told The Times.
He joins the ICP this summer, replacing Willis E. Hartshorn.
