The Wall Street Journal‘s Kelly Crow just published a nine-work preview of the big Sotheby’s Impressionist and modern sale this May (catalogues, we’ve been told, are still a few weeks away).
With work by Salvador Dali and René Magritte, the auction seems to be aimed at capitalizing on the recent market trends, where Surrealist works have sold especially well.
