Christo just got one step closer to realizing his dream of stretching some 5.9 miles of fabric over expanses of the Arkansas River in Colorado. Today, commissioners in Fremont County, Colo., approved the section of the project on their turf, according to the Associated Press.

Though the federal government has approved the plan, the artist still needs the go-ahead from Chaffee County, Colo.; the Colorado Department of Transportation; and the State Patrol, the wire service notes. Entitled Over the River, the project is slated to be installed for two weeks in Aug. 2015.

“The project is not something that happens overnight,” Christo said, adding, “It will get people thinking of us, how things look great or not great. All that work to do the project is all our project.”

The project is estimated to cost $50 million–that’s twice the projected cost of Jeff Koons’s¬†Train¬†sculpture, which some hope will one day be installed over the High Line.
